Motherlode is a yet unreleased mod that aims to expand the game's progression, making it take longer, but at the same time feel more engaging and fun. It adds to several different aspects of Minecraft.

Ores, tools, & armor

Motherlode adds several new tiers of ores, tools, weapons and armor.

Tier 0: Wood

This tier remains unchanged. It is encouraged to progress into at least the copper or iron tier early on.

Tier 1: Stone

The stone tier also remains unchanged. As with the wooden tier, it is advised to progress to a higher tier early.

Tier 2: Copper

(Will probably be removed once 1.17 releases)

Copper is the lowest of the new ores and comes before Iron. It is found at the surface and all the way down, and can be mined with stone pickaxes or better.

It has a lot of uses for redstone and mechanical things.

Tier 4: Iron

Also unchanged.

Tier 5: Silver

Silver comes after iron and before gold. It emits bright sparkles that glow in the dark. It provides a bit less mining speed than gold does, but has a higher durability. Can be mined with iron pickaxes or better.

Silver is a very powerful ore against the undead.

Tier 6, 7, & 8: Gold, Diamond & Netherite

These tiers also do not have anything added to them.

Tier 9: Charite

This is the first ore which is found in the Nether. To get Charite bars, you need to craft the Charite crystals into a powder, which is then combined with gold ingots. The Charite Block emits small fire particles.

Tier 10: Echerite

Echerite is the second ore found in the Nether. At least a Charite Pickaxe is required to mine the ore. Echerite is seen as sacred by the enders and when you mine this for the first time, there's a chance you will encounter an Ender Invasion. Has a second emmisive layer that glows in the dark.

Tier 11: Titanium

Titanium comes after Echerite and is found in the Overworld. You need at least an Echerite Pickaxe to mine this. Has small sparks that glow in the dark.

Tier 12: Adamantite

Adamantite is the last ore of Motherlode. It is the strongest of the ores and provides a considerable boost in every stat.

There are a couple of new biomes planned. At the moment, only the Ruined Flats have been implemented. It is very foggy, and contains many patches of water, with new plants. There are also camps that can contain chests and zombie horses.

Ender Invasion

PLEASE ADD MORE INFO IF YOU CAN.

At the start of the game, players will not be able to access The End. This is changed once the Ender Invasion starts, which happens when a player mines Echerite Ore in the Nether for the first time. After this, small patches of the Overworld will be corrupted by The End, turning blocks into End variants of themselves. In hard difficulty, this will also spread. Endermen will spawn more frequently in these corrupted areas.

Once the ender dragon has been defeated, the ender invasion will slowly shrink in size until it is fully gone.

Redstone

Motherlode adds a few new blocks and mechanics related to Redstone, which copper has many uses for.

Redstone Transmitter

When opening the GUI of the redstone transmitter, you can put gems into a 4x4 grid and change the transmitter's role from transmitter to receiver. A "transmitter" Redstone Transmitter will transmit redstone signals going into it to a "receiver" Redstone Transmitter with the same arrangement of gems.
